How to Send Messages Using WhatsApp Funnel

Once your WhatsApp Business number is integrated with Facebook, you will see the “Add to WhatsApp Funnel” option while creating a campaign. Any campaign added to the WhatsApp Funnel will be displayed in the WhatsApp Funnel section.

Steps to Set Up WhatsApp Funnel

  1. Click on WhatsApp Funnel from the Sidebar.
  2. Click on Add WhatsApp Funnel.
  3. Enter the Funnel Title for easy identification.
  4. Add a Short Description for internal use.
  5. Select the Lead Category/Campaign to choose which leads will receive messages.
  6. Only campaigns added to the WhatsApp Funnel will be available in the dropdown.
  7. Lead Added From – If left blank, all leads from the campaign creation date will be included.
  8. Lead Added Till – The default is the current date, but you can customize it.
  9. Select the Lead Status to target for message sending.
  10. Choose the Status After Sending (e.g., “Message Delivered”).
  11. Set the Status When Lead Responds (e.g., “Message Received”).
  12. Define the Status for Failed Messages (e.g., “Message Failed”).
  13. Select the WhatsApp Message Template from Facebook Business Manager.
  14. Add a Video URL if you want to include a video in the message.
  15. Use Dynamic Fields like @clientName, @clientEmail, @clientMobile, @clientPhone to personalize messages.
  16. Review all details and click “Create WhatsApp Funnel.”
  17. Messages will start sending automatically to leads that match the selected campaign, category, and status.

Note: Once you receive a response from the client, your interaction time begins, and you must engage with the lead within 24 hours. If you’re unable to do so within the given time, you will need to create a new funnel for further interaction.

Clients will receive these messages on WhatsApp.

You can view  WhatsApp Funnel details including:

  • Funnel Title, Description, Campaign, Lead Status, Total Leads, Sent/Failed Leads, Created By, Created Date, and to view more details click on the eye button in Action
  • Inside that, you can view the details that you set. The message template that is shared with clients, funnel leads.

You can also track lead responses in the REM App.

To view them, follow this guide:

  1. Tap on Menu
  2. Select Funnel Leads
  3. You can filter leads by agents to view funnel leads for specific team member, or use the campaign filter to see leads from selected campaigns.
  4. Additionally, tracking leads by their status makes it easy to monitor progress and manage your pipeline effectively.

You can also access the WhatsApp funnel on agent account.

To access this feature in an agent account, permission should be granted to that agent from company account.

  1. Go to User Roles.
  2. Create a User Role and give permission of WhatsApp funnel
  3. Now go to the Users/Agents and assign that User Role to the preferred agent
  4. Now you can easily access WhatsApp funnel on agent account with the same number used by company account
